Worship Committee
As
Catholics we are centered on the Eucharist and the importance of
full, active and conscious participation in Catholic worship. The
Worship Committee deals with all aspects of how prayer and worship
is "done" at Immaculate Conception. The goal of this committee is to
develop objectives and to coordinate liturgies that speak to the
hearts of the people.

Ushers/Greeters
Offering
a warm and welcoming place to call "home" is important to a vibrant
parish community. Ushers and Greeters do this by assisting those who
come to worship, helping with the orderly reception of Communion,
and handling any emergencies that may arise during liturgies. Ushers
take up the collection and make sure the assembly area is cleaned up
after Mass.

Gift Bearers
Presenting
the gifts of bread and wine at the Offertory of the Mass is symbolic
of the community presenting fruits of our labor, which will become
the Body and Blood of Christ.
If you would like to serve in this ministry, notify a greater or
usher of your wishes when you enter the Church.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic
Adoration is our acknowledgement that Jesus is truly present in the
Blessed Sacrament.
For more than 2 years, parishioners of Immaculate Conception and
other faithful members of the community have dedicated time spent in
Adoration to Our Lord.
Contact: Mike Russell, 310-1521
Pope John Paul II’s call was that all laity participates in Eucharistic evangelization “so that the whole people of God could develop a personal relationship with Jesus, Our Savior in the Blessed Sacrament.”
“It is by taking time out to be with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament that this relationship with Our Lord begins to increase, and grow and blossom. Eucharistic Adoration builds community. The Eucharist is the sacrament of unity, Jesus unifying his people. Through the intimacy of quiet prayer with Jesus, one experiences the personal love of the Savior and grasps the reality that we are all one with the whole Body of Christ” – Pope John Paul II
Sacristan
The sacristan arrives 30-45 minutes early
to prepare all the elements needed for the celebration of Mass; e.g.
bread, wine, cups, patens, mark books, etc.
